Former President Donald Trump White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and the daughter of former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee won her primary last night.
She took 83.2% of the vote to get the GOP nod to run against the Democrat to be Arkansas’ next Governor. Arkansas is a deep red state as well. Winning this particular nomination really puts Sanders on the fast track to actually being the next Governor there most likely.
Sanders is a pro-Trump Republican who has been beloved by almost all Republicans, during and after her time as White House press secretary. Although Kayleigh McEnany, who replaced Sanders eventually, was also beloved, Sanders has always held a special place in the hearts of most Republicans. It is of no surprise to us that she won this race and we wish her the best.

Donald Trump endorsed Sanders for her run, but not all the people he has been endorsing have been able to win lately. Many are questioning if Trump will stay in the endorsement business, but only time will tell.
