US House Minority Whip Steve Scalise today criticized House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for not calling the House of Representatives back into session. He made a list of everyone who is working except Pelosi and the House Democrats.
The Senate is working. @realDonaldTrump is working. Doctors, nurses, and scientists are working. Grocery store clerks are working. Truckers are working. Farmers are working. Manufacturers are working. But Nancy Pelosi’s House Dems are still NOT working. Let that sink in.

House Rep Dr. Neal Dunn of Florida’s 2nd Congressional District retweeted Scalise’s tweet and said that “All across this country, Americans are showing up to work.” He said there should be no more backdoor deals and that his “constituents deserve to have their voice heard.”
All across this country, Americans are showing up to work, but Nancy Pelosi & House Dems refuse to call the House back to D.C. It’s time for Congress to get back to work. No more deals made behind closed doors. My constituents deserve to have their voice heard. #FL02

Pelosi blamed Republicans yesterday for standing “in the way of expanding SNAP benefits in the last three Coronavirus relief bills.” She said that they “must work together to expand our support for our most vulnerable.”
Republicans have stood in the way of expanding SNAP benefits in the last three coronavirus relief bills. As mothers report that 1 in 5 children do not have enough to eat, we must work together to expand our support for our most vulnerable. #FamiliesFirst@FCPwithGreta
