Schiff Pushes ‘Russia-Hacked’ Hillary Clinton Email Campaign Scheme in Roger Stone Commutation

This morning, Congressman Adam Schiff appeared on ABC’s This Week and discussed the commutation of Roger Stone by President Trump. He led the Russia probe against Trump and brought up a connection to Hillary Clinton’s emails during the interview as to why Trump made that move.

Anyone who cares about the rule of law is nauseated by this commutation. Stone lied to Congress, intimidated a witness and obstructed to cover up for Trump. And about what? The Trump campaign’s scheme to use Russia-hacked emails. Sadly, Republicans couldn’t care less.

Roger Stone was the intermediary, he was the link between Donald Trump and the Trump Campaign and Russian intelligence. The same Russian intelligence unit that hacked Donald Trump’s opponent’s emails. He was the link with their cutout, Wikileaks, as well through which they published these and Donald Trump was desperate to get his hands on these emails.

He urged the Russians to hack Hillary’s emails, he touted them when they did, over 100 times on the campaign trail, he thought they were central to his victory.

This effort to get and use foreign assistance is what Roger Stone had information on and he lied to coverup and protect the president and the president threw this commutation as basically saying if you lie for me, if you coverup for me, if you have my back, then I will make sure you get “a get out of jail free card.” Other Americans, different standard. Friends of the president, accomplices of the president, they get off scot-free.

They also discussed potentially another impeachment scenario, but Schiff said that they had already made the case but the Republican-led Senate refused to remove him from office.

Yesterday, Schiff spoke to MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and said that “Commuting Roger Stone’s sentence is a terrible blow to justice and the rule of law.”

Commuting Roger Stone’s sentence is a terrible blow to justice and the rule of law. Through this act, Trump is saying: “If you lie for me, if you cover up for me, if you obstruct for me, I will protect you.” Another tragic day for American democracy.

Schiff continues to push the Russian collusion narrative despite mountains of evidence proving that there is no connection. AG William Barr has even said that the probe was started “without basis.”
