Last night on NBC’s Saturday Night Live comedy show, they did a skit involving Thursday’s town hall on the same network. President Trump, played by Alec Baldwin, was answering a question and they mock the “nodding lady” that was behind him.
After exaggerating her movements, including having the person playing the “nodding lady” twerk, Kamala Harris, played by Maya Rudolph, came out to address the situation.
“I’m real sorry, this is the last place I want to be, but somebody has to ask, what the hell is happening with that woman back there? Because I only nod that much when a waiter asks if I’ll be having mimosas at lunch, so either that’s Candace Owens in a wig, or baby girl answered the wrong Craigslist ad,” Rudolph said.

Owens took the joke in stride, tagging the show and tweeting out, “Thank you, Saturday Night Live for the shout out last night! I donāt watch your show because it stopped being funny about 9 years ago, but I recognize and appreciate the cultural impact Iām having when people tell me that my name was dropped in one of your skits!”

The “nodding lady” has been identified as Mayra Joli, an immigration attorney and pro-Trump activist who once declared herself Miamiās āmaster of selfiesā during a 2018 pro-Trump Congressional campaign.
Joli told Trump shortly after the event finished, “We have your back! You see, you see you are the best.” Trump asked her, “Where are you from?” To which she replied, “Iām from the Dominican Republic, but Iām American, Iām an American.”
Owens recently organized a BLEXIT law and order event at the White House, which was the first in-person event that President Trump spoke at after he was released from the Walter Reed Medical Center following his Coronavirus diagnosis.
