Jeff Bridges, who is 72 now, is updating his fans on his health after going into remission from a dangerous form of cancer. Bridges announced his remission in 2021 actually. But he recently spoke out to give an update to his fans.
During a virtual panel Tuesday for his upcoming FX series The Old Man, Bridges says he feels “terrific” and thanked many for their continued support. This includes the cast, crew, and producers of “The Old Man” (who he thanked).
“As far as I’m concerned, FX and all of the team were so considerate and gave me all of the time I needed to heal and all the support I needed,” he told reporters, we went on, “The protocols — we were still in COVID — made me feel very safe and eager to get down to business and play.” “I went through a year and a half of this bizarre dream and then came back,” Bridges said, according to Deadline. “It was great to be back with the gang.”
“In times like that, it seems like all your philosophies and spirituality comes to you. It tests you,” Bridges said. “All of that has been made more mature by that experience. I’ve always approached life the same way, [but this] made things sharper.”
People reported more on the story.
Bridges tweeted back in 2020:
“As the Dude would say.. New S**T has come to light. I have been diagnosed with Lymphoma. Although it is a serious disease, I feel fortunate that I have a great team of doctors and the prognosis is good. I’m starting treatment and will keep you posted on my recovery.
I’m profoundly grateful for the love and support from my family and friends. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes. And, while I have you, please remember to go vote. Because we are all in this together. http://Vote.org Love, Jeff”

“The Big Lebowski” was one of Bridges’ most famous movies, even though it was a flop initially, it became a “cult classic” later though. Bridges built his fame off that and other things as well in our estimation. Stay tuned to Media Right News for more possible updates.
