Tim Allen Gives Update on Jay Leno After Visiting ‘Pal’ in Hospital, Says He’s Overcoming Burns Like a ‘Superhero’

Despite all the buzz around his new show, Tim Allen took some time to visit his “pal” Jay Leno in the hospital.

In a tweet, Allen announced “Went to see my pal Leno in the hospital after his burn accident. Took some treats and car magazines.”

Allen then explained that “He has severe burns and acts like he just stubbed his toe.”

“The due is a superhero. Great care will have him better real soon,” Allen insisted.

It was reported yesterday that Leno is expected to make a “full recovery” from his serious injuries, according to his doctor.

Dr. Peter Grossman, who has Leno under his care, shared a similar story.

“He’s walking around and he’s cracking jokes. I can tell you that he’s incredibly kind to our nursing staff,” Grossman explained.

Grossman added, “He’s very compliant. He’s very appreciative of everybody here and really an ideal patient.”
