Former Deputy U.S. Attorney General Sally Yates testified today before the Senate Judiciary Committee regarding the surveillance of the Trump Campaign and Administration officials.
During the testimony, Yates said she would not have signed off on the surveillance of former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page had she known that the FBI’s wire-tap warrant was deeply flawed. She said, “Certainly, I regret” that false information was submitted to support the warrant.
In June, former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein testified that in retrospect, he would not have signed the fourth application renewing the FBI’s surveillance of Page.
Jonathan Turley tweeted out the news of Yates’ testimony and President Trump retweeted by blasting former President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden and accused them of treason.
BIG NEWS! The Political Crime of the Century is unfolding. ObamaBiden illegally spied on the Trump Campaign, both before and after the election. Treason!

At the beginning of the testimony, Trump tweeted out that Yates “has zero credibility” and initially referenced “ObamaBiden” saying that they knew “EVERYTHING!” During the testimony, Yates denied that claim.
Sally Yates has zero credibility. She was a part of the greatest political crime of the Century, and ObamaBiden knew EVERYTHING! Sally Yates leaked the General Flynn conversation? Ask her under oath. Republicans should start playing the Democrats game!

Louisiana Senator John Kennedy grilled Yates about whether she despised President Trump or not and she denied that she did. She also denied that any DOJ officials despised him as well.
During a Senate hearing pushing the right's anti-Obama conspiracies, @SenJohnKennedy asks former AG Sally Yates about DOJ officials who "despised" Trump and then pushed the Russia investigation.

Yates says she was unaware of any such thing and she'd be shocked to hear it. pic.twitter.com/P5zBZq12C8
Her Twitter feed, however, tells a different story. She doesn’t tweet often, but it is often either criticism of President Trump or support for Obama or Biden.
Trump tries to wrap himself in faux love for our military but looks the other way when Russia puts a bounty on American service members’ lives. It’s time for a president who will stand with our allies and stand up to our adversaries. https://t.co/QN3lmQviVG

I am supporting Joe Biden because I trust him.I trust him to always put the country’s interests before his own;to tell us the truth;to appeal to our best, not our worst, instincts;to unite rather than divide us;and to always treat the presidency as a privilege not an entitlement.
