President Trump has endorsed a successful African-American businessman who has lived in North Minneapolis for more than four decades running for a chance to unseat Ilhan Omar. Trump said that she is a “disaster” who “hates military & our vets” as well as being supportive of other far-left issues.
And I’m Endorsing you also Lacy, you truly deserve it. You are doing a great job, and Omar is a disaster who wants much higher taxes, hates our Military & our Vets, demands Open Borders, and is fighting to take away our great 2nd Amendment. Good luck Lacy!

Johnson is one of several Republicans in Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District Primary race to take on Omar which includes former White House correspondent Dalia Al-Aqidi and other candidates.
He received the endorsement of the delegates within his congressional district on Wednesday night with “a first ballot 90% endorsement vote.”
I’d like to thank the GOP delegates of CD 5 for a first ballot 90% endorsement vote tonight. We will change the lives of families in CD5 in a positive, measurable, and visible way. Lacy Johnson for Congress TIME FOR CHANGE
