President Trump tweeted out tonight a follow-up to his earlier video, updating Americans on his status from where he is being cared for and working at the Walter Reed Medical Center.

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany tweeted out an update from the President Trump’s physician, Sean P. Conley. Conley said that he was releasing the information with permission from President Trump.
The statement said, “This afternoon, in consultation with specialists from Walter Reed and John Hopkins University, I recommended movement of the President up to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for further monitoring.”
“This evening I am happy to report that the President is doing very well. He is not requiring any supplemental oxygen, but in consultation with specialists we have elected to initiate Remdesivir therapy. He has completed his first dose and is resting comfortably.”

Donald Trump Jr. appeared on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show earlier and said that it is “business as usual with his father.” Trump Jr. also said that he had never seen him “sick or have the flu or anything like that.”
