Tucker Carlson weighed in on the indictment of former President and 2024 presidential candidate Donald Trump last night on his Fox News show.
Carlson made his opinion on the situation clear as he issued an ominous warning, “There is no coming back from this moment.”
In a tweet shared by Carlson that included a clip from his show, he said, “Donald Trump is now the first former President of the United States ever to be indicted.”
Carlson explained in the opening part of his show, “American politics was thrown into complete chaos, perhaps permanently… when a grand jury in Manhattan, one of the most liberal cities in America, a place where 80% voted for Joe Biden in the last election, decided to indict Biden’s political opponent in the upcoming election, the Republican frontrunner, the man who leads by 30 points in polls, Donald Trump.”
“The jury did this at the urging of a man called Alvin Bragg, he’s the Manhattan District Attorney who has been famous so far by making the city much more dangerous by refusing to enforce laws against crimes, like robbery and rape,” Carlson insisted.
Carlson then referenced the statement by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R), which we reported on last night as well.

According to a Politico report, Bragg’s office asked for Trump to surrender today, but Trump’s lawyers rebuffed the request.
Trump’s lawyers said that the Secret Service, which provides security detail for the former president, needed more time to prepare.
