SpaceX CEO Elon Musk yesterday denied a reported sexual misconduct claim from a former flight attendant, whom the company reportedly paid $250,000 as part of a severance agreement in 2018.
Musk said in a tweet after the story was released that it should be “viewed through a political lens.”
According to the report, the attendant worked on a contract basis in the cabin crew for SpaceX’s corporate jet fleet.
The attendant accused Musk of exposing his erect penis to her, rubbing her leg without consent, and offering to buy her a horse in exchange for an erotic massage.
A declaration signed by the attendant’s friend detailed the incident, which reportedly took place in 2016 and email correspondence and other records, which the friend provided to Business Insider, reportedly corroborate the claims.
Arizona GOP State Senator Wendy Rogers weighed in on the report in a viral tweet where she urged, “Assume all attacks on @elonmusk are fake because he has shifted right and is now attacking the deep state.”

Rogers later responded to another tweet that Musk had made addressing the situation.
Musk had replied to a tweet from Twitter user “Catturd” and said, “They began brewing attacks of all kinds as soon as the Twitter acquisition was announced. In my 30 year career, including the entire MeToo era, there’s nothing to report, but, as soon as I say I intend to restore free speech to Twitter & vote Republican, suddenly there is …”
Rogers explained, “Well yeah. Thinking, doing and speaking common sense is not allowed.”

It is unclear what, if anything, will happen as a result of the revelations but it seems like a clear attempt to smear Musk as he tries to purchase Twitter.
