As CNN continues to crumble as a news outlet, having just lost their primetime attraction, Chris Cuomo, due to a scandal, they held a roundtable last night where Don Lemon, Brian Stelter, and S.E. Cupp to trash Fox News.
The occassion was the recently revealed text messages between some Fox News commentators and White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, which they believe prove that Fox News is no longer “legitimate journalism.”
At one point, without a hint of irony, Lemon asked, “Why does Jen Psaki continue to call on Fox in the briefing room, they’ve been very curtious and kind?”
“Why should they be able to take part in a legitimate press briefing and legitimate journalism?” Lemon wondered as well.
Cupp, who voted for Joe Biden in 2020, responded that “The last real good” journalist “left the building” at Fox News, apparently referencing Chris Wallace.
Stelter was all too happy to criticize Fox News and suggest that perhaps we need to “recognize it for what it is” and that the text messages are “more evidence” that Fox News “leans so far from reality” now.

It is amazing to watch an exchange like that and Trump supporters would generally argue that Fox News isn’t even that far to the right ultimately, as many are still upset about them being the first to call Arizona for Biden.
Prior to that part of the segment, Lemon and Stelter mocked Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham for suggesting that there was a more extreme contingent that potentially hijacked the Jan. 6 rally from the peaceful Trump supporters, possibly even Antifa.
Again, they mocked that situation without a hint of irony in regards to what happened last summer with the Black Lives Matter riots, where many ended with violence, but those who participated in the earlier protests that were non-violent tried their best to separate themselves from the rioters and looters.
