A woman who has been identified as participating in the ”Green Goblin” NYC subway attack has been released without bail.
26-year-old Miriam Issouf turned herself in yesterday and was in court this morning, walking out with her attorney.
Issouf’s attorney, John Russo, claimed that she did “nothing wrong” and that she actually was trying to help one of the victims.
Multiple videos were captured of the attack, as the two victims also had their cell phones and handbags stolen.
The mother of one of the victims described the identified attackers using harsh terms, which Issouf’s lawyer objected to and he specifically lashed out at the New York Post for publishing her comments.
Three others have been identified, although they have not been caught or turned themselves in yet.
At a previous press conference, NYPD Chief of Detectives James Essig reported that all four live in public housing in the city.
Essig also notes that the victims were 19-years-old and that there were nine attackers total with the incident stemming from a ”bump” on the platform.
