A video released by Project Veritas yesterday shows one of their journalists questioning CNN National Correspondent Athena Jones about a producer for Jake Tapper, who it has now been reported resigned earlier this month.
In the video, Jones eventually called security on the journalist, after giving a report which was broadcast live on CNN as he attempts to ask her about the producer Rick Saleeby, who is under “criminal investigation” involving “potential juvenile victims.”
The journalist began by yelling, “Hey Athena.”
“Does Rick Saleeby still work for CNN?” the journalist asked.
Jones can then be seen looking at her phone as the journalist pointed out, “You guys have had multiple people come out with issues against children recently including Rick Saleeby.”
“Project Veritas recently did a story on Rick Saleeby sexting and looking for pictures of underage girls,” the journalist noted.
The journalist continued, “Do you have any comment on that Athena?”
Jones can then be seen giving her report in the video from the journalist and her live report on CNN is then transposed onto the video.
Following her broadcast, Jones said, “Hey control room. Share with the managers and other control rooms that we are going to need security out here.”
“There’s like a Project Veritas type person out here trying to talk to people including me. We need to have that handled. Thank you,” Jones explained.
