On Tuesday, we reported that 55 uncounted ballots were found in Chenango County, New York that were apparently “mislaid” which would impact the Congressional race in that district, the 22nd, where Republican Claudia Tenney is leading House Rep. Anthony Brindisi.
Eric Trump tweeted out an article about the finding from RedState that was titled, “Ballots ‘Found’ in NY-22 Race, Probably Will Help the Democrat.”
While tagging Tenney, Eric Trump lamented, “Here we go again! ‘Finding’ ballots that favor democrats nearly a month after an election when only a handful of votes separate two candidates.”
Tenney retweeted Eric Trump and urged, “Let’s hope they break for us!”

That isn’t the only situation happening with that race as more than 800 challenges to ballots have been filed by both candidates.
Lawyers for Tenney asked a judge yesterday to dismiss Brindisi’s legal challenges and order election officials to certify her as the winner.
Paul DerOhannesian II, Tenney’s lawyer, wrote in a legal memorandum that a judge had no legal authority to rule on the validity of dozens of ballots where election officials failed to note the reasons why they were challenged.
Sticky notes attached to some of the ballots disputed by the campaigns have been lost, that no other records existed, and it also wasn’t clear if all of those ballots had been counted.
