U.S. House Rep Darrell Issa (R-CA) went on the offensive today after former Hillary Clinton lawyer Michael Sussmann was acquitted yesterday by a Washington D.C. jury.
In a tweet, Issa took aim at Clinton herself and what he believes should happen to her for her role in the “Russia hoax.”
“Let’s be clear: Hillary Clinton is an unindicted co-conspirator in the planning and execution of the Russia Hoax and the damage it did to this country the last six years,” Issa declared.
Issa explained, “No verdict by a jury of her donors can change that fact.”

No verdict by a jury of her donors can change that fact.
As we reported yesterday, it appears that many Trump supporters who were hoping that special counsel John Durham would expose the Clinton campaign of all kinds of wrongdoing may be somewhat disappointed today.
Sussman was found not guilty of lying to the FBI.
Durham responded to the verdict, “While we are disappointed in the outcome, we respect the jury’s decision & thank them for their service.”
“I also want to recognize and thank the investigators &the prosecution team for their dedicated efforts in seeking truth and justice in this case,” Durham added.
Following the verdict, Sussmann told the press, “I told the truth to the FBI, and the jury clearly recognized that with their unanimous verdict today …Despite being falsely accused, I am relieved that justice ultimately prevailed in my case.”
