“Jesse Watters Primetime” scored big ratings in its debut, becoming Fox News’ highest-rated telecast in the time slot in more than a year.
According to media outlet The Wrap, Jesse Watters’ Monday premiere as the new permanent host of Fox News’ 7 p.m. ET hour netted him 3.8 million total viewers.
That figure scored double the viewership for the hour compared to the same day in 2021 and more viewers than every “Fox News Primetime” telecast since the show launched last year with a rotating cast of hosts.
Co-host of “Outnumbered,” Kayleigh McEnany announced in a tweet that she will be appearing on the show tonight.
“Can’t wait for my first appearance on @jesseprimetime, @FoxNews at 7:10 pm ET!” McEnany announced.
McEnany also declared, “A HUGE congratulations to @JesseBWatters on his brand new show!”

A HUGE congratulations to @JesseBWatters on his brand new show!
Mediaite reported that Watters had 537,000 viewers in the key 25-54 age demographic and that his total viewership landed him in second place behind “The Five,” where he is a permanent co-host.
The debut not only crushed its time slot competition, CNN’s Erin Burnett, who came in shy of 700,000 total viewers, and MSNBC’s Joy Reid, who raked in 1.2 million viewers, but it even beat ABC’s The Bachelor in terms of total viewers, Mediaite added.
Yesterday, we reported on his debut program:
In his Fox News weekday show debut, “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Jessie Watters had some fun at the expense of Joe Biden’s hot mic moment earlier in the day.
At the end of the show, Watters received a text from “Frank in Ohio” who told mocked Biden’s hot mic expletive, “We love you, you SOB!”
“That’s right, talk to me like I’m Doocy,” Watters quipped after reading it off.
