Judge Loretta Preska made a ruling on Thursday that is a potential shakeup for the Clinton family and their supporters, as well as others potentially involved. Dozens of documents with information pertaining to Ghislaine Maxwell’s personal affairs can be unsealed in the coming weeks.
Addressing concerns, the judge says that the unsealing of the documents should not affect the likelihood of Maxwell, the former associate of the late Jeffrey Epstein, of a fair trial. Maxwell had apparently tried to thwart the efforts of Virginia Roberts Giuffre to obtain financial records of hers. The lawyers of Giuffre’s had requested those documents, which are the ones that could affect the Clintons. Funding was allegedly received from the Clinton Global Initiative and the Clinton Foundation.
Former President Bill Clinton was known to have been reportedly associated with Jeffrey Epstein, allegedly flew on his airplane and has been seen in photo ops with Maxwell’s former associate.
The Daily Mail reported in part:
The judge also ruled that documents relating to a request from Giuffre for email accounts that Maxwell allegedly kept secret from the court should also be made public.
They could give an insight into powerful men who Maxwell knew, such and Prince Andrew of the British royal family.
The judge said that unsealing the documents would not impact Maxwell’s right to a fair trial in November as her lawyers have claimed
The documents are part of a tranche of material gradually being released by Judge Preska from the defamation case Giuffre filed against Maxwell in 2016 for calling her a liar.
The Clintons have a history of shady connections, although many have been afraid to stand up to them for fear of potential retribution. After Hillary Clinton’s loss to former President Donald Trump in 2016, they have been especially bitter. They have stayed out of the public eye for the most part, with a few appearances to the public scattered about in between, and it is clear Hillary is still bitter about her loss to “the Donald”.
Bill has been quieter, and some speculate that although they are retired comfortably financially, they may still be worried about what old news could potentially come back to bite them, although this is in our speculation only.
Daily Mail also reported
Giuffre claims Maxwell recruited her when she was 16 and took her to Jeffrey Epstein to be repeatedly raped and abused, including by Prince Andrew, which he denies.
The defamation case was settled in 2017 but after requests from the media organization the documents are gradually being unsealed.
During a hearing at New York’s federal court, Judge Preska said she was not persuaded by Maxwell’s argument that ‘continued unsealing of these materials implicates her right to a fair trial in her pending criminal case’, which is due to start in November.
Among the documents made public will be a motion for a protective order filed by Maxwell’s lawyers to limit the amount of information about her finances they had to hand over.
Time will tell what, if anything, will come of this for the Clintons and/or others, and how it may affect Maxwell’s case in the end. It will be interesting to see if nemesis Donald Trump has anything to say at all about this, or if it is something that most public figures on either side of the political aisle stay away from. We can’t say for sure if there is a reason famous elites and politicians do not like Epstein related news and developments, but it certainly isn’t good for PR when it comes to Hollywood and Washington D.C. at best.
Maxwell is alleged to have helped Jeffrey Epstein in his years of reported sexually assaulting and taking advantage of minors and other women.

Now, a late-breaking development, just as we were finishing up the story. Maxwell’s lawyers are citing the Bill Cosby case now, in a bid to potentially have her charges dropped. Read more about that:

Bill Cosby recently had his charges vacated by a PA Supreme Court Judge and was ordered to be released from jail as we previously reported here. We reported about the Cosby news in part:
Following the Pennsylvania State Supreme Courtâs issuance of an opinion to vacate his conviction, the infamous Bill Cosby will walk out of a Pennsylvania state prison as a free man soon. Cosbyâs lawyers had appealed to the court in December, arguing the entirety of life was put on trial which caused him to suffer âunquantifiable prejudiceâ.
The courtâs opinion was released this morning and reads: âThere is only one remedy that can completely restore Cosby to the status quo ante. He must be discharged, and any future prosecution on these particular charges must be barred. We do not dispute that this remedy is both severe and rare. But it is warranted here, indeed compelled. For these reasons, Cosbyâs convictions and judgment of sentence are vacated, and he is discharged.â
The PA court said that testimony tainted the trial considering that the trial judge had allowed just one other accuser besides the Temple University employee to testify at Cosbyâs first trial before allowing five other accusers testify at the retrial.
Bill Cosby, 83-years-old, has served just over two years of his 3-10 year sentence in a state prison near Philidelphia, following his conviction in charges that he drugged and molested a Temple University employee in 2004. Cosby was denied parole recently, partially due to his lack or remorse and guilt. Cosby refused to participate in sex offender programs and has made it clear that he would resist those kinds of programs even if it meant he would serve his full sentence.
