U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) responded today after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said that she believes that she and U.S. House Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) should just “shut up.”
The remarks from Pelosi came after she was asked about the pair shouting at Joe Biden during his State of the Union address to remind him about the 13 service members killed in the Afghanistan terrorist attack.
Boebert tweeted a gif of Pelosi tearing up Trump’s 2020 SOTU speech and said, “So Fancy Nancy is upset about me speaking out at the State of the Union.”
“What’s she so torn up about? I will not ‘shut up’ about Biden’s failure in Afghanistan and the 13 heroes we lost because of it,” Boebert insisted.

Boebert later tweeted, “I just got word from a mutual friend that the mother of one of the 13 reached out and said she ‘really appreciated you speaking out’.”
“Pelosi and Whoopi can attack me every day for the rest of the year. It’s worth the heat to give them honor,” Boebert stressed.

As we previously reported, Boebert yelled at Biden while he was speaking of helping soldiers who came home sick from Iraq and Afghanistan because of toxic burn pits and the cancers that would one day put them in a “flag-draped coffin.”
In a tweet following the address, Boebert explained, “When Biden said flag draped coffins I couldn’t stay silent.”
“I told him directly he did it. He put 13 in there. Our heroic servicemen and women deserve so much better,” Boebert insisted.
