LOL: The View Reportedly Wants Someone like Candace Owens or Kimberly Guilfoyle to Replace Meghan McCain to Juice Ratings

After four years with The View, Meghan McCain announced she was leaving. Some have speculated she had enough of the catfighting and bashings she received from the other co-hosts. McCain recently had her first child and this too could add to the reasons as to why she was leaving The View. At the end of the month she will be out.

This revelation left a full-time seat open at The View table. An insider from ABC exposed the names that are being looked at to replace McCain. The Daily Mail reported:

‘It’s chaos behind the scenes at The View,’ an ABC insider tells DailyMail.com. ‘Joy Behar is openly moaning about Meghan leaving as it’s finally hit her that sometimes it is better the devil you know.

‘Joy has only just realized that they could be getting someone much further right on the political spectrum than Meghan who won’t put up with her crap,’ they added. 

The source said that if ABC was gutsy, they’d do a ‘massive shake up’ and hire popular conservatives like Kimberly Guilfoyle, Megyn Kelly or even controversial Candace Owens to ‘give the other women a run for their money.’

The insider also revealed that the show had tried three different times to hire Guilfoyle, girlfriend of Donald Trump Jr., while she was at Fox News. 

‘[Kimberly] would be great as she would literally prosecute the other members of the panel every day of the week,’ they said. ‘One of our highest rated episodes ever was when she stopped by the show with Don Jr.

‘Megyn Kelly would also do the same, however her new Sirius deal makes it hard for her to come to us.’

There is also mounting tension as guest host Ana Navarro is vying for a permanent seat, but the insider claims she won’t get it.

‘Ana Navarro is angry because she desperately wants Meghan’s job but she’s convinced they’re not going to give her a full time seat at the table,’ they said. 

‘Ana doesn’t deserve the chair. She is not a Republican in the true sense of the word, all she does is slam people who voted for Trump. 

‘We need to hire a Trump Republican to reach more of the available audience at home. 

‘Ana is not the person.’

Some on Twitter have shared their toughts on this news including Guilfoyle’s boyfriend Don Jr. Don reminisces over the pair’s recent appearance on The View that seemed to have many of the co-hosts losing their minds.

Megyn Kelly seems a more likely candidate for the view as she really isn’t as near right as the other two mentioned candidates. After leaving Fox News Kelly headed over to NBC for a brief stint and more recently launched her own media production company Devil May Care Media. Although if Guilfole or Owens did take the position, ABC would probably see quite the boost in ratings as both of them are much further right of McCain.
