At the beginning of July, we reported that Meghan McCain was calling it quits on “The View” and that she would finish out the season.
As Bill Goodykoontz with the Arizona Republic recently put it, whether that’s good thing or a bad thing depends, of course, on how you feel about McCain and no one is in the middle on that front.
It appears that time has come now, as Friday is set to be her last day as a co-host of the show that her father, the late Sen John McCain (R-AZ) convinced her to join before he died.
Meghan will be joined by her mother Cindy McCain, who was nominated in June for a U.N. post by President Biden and was a frequent guest during her tenure on the show.
It was also recently reported that Meghan’s plans after leaving the show include producing a Lifetime movie, “Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff,” starring Heather Locklear.
Earlier today, we reported:
Meghan McCain took to Twitter to ask the Trump family to leave her and her family alone. Donald Trump being critical of her late Father John McCain her mother Cindy and herself.
“There is no “good” Trump family member to me. Continue to wish they would all just leave me and my entire family the f*ck alone.”
This comes following anti-Trump niece Mary Trump calling out Meghan McCain for ducking her on The View. Mary Trump became popular after going after her own uncle following Trump becoming president in 2017.
In a comment at the end of her spot, Trump said, “It’s a shame that your colleague didn’t have the courage to come on and have this conversation with me,”. This comment caught Goldberg off guard and seemed to be at a loss of words after the comment was made she quickly uttered “Yeah” then prodded her earpiece and made an odd expression with giving an awkward pause. Goldberg then transitioned to thanking Trump for her appearance and plugged Trump’s book one more time.
Like her late Father John McCain, Meghan McCain also has a staunch anti-Trump stance and has expressed anti-Trump views in the past. Even though Mary and Meghan both clearly don’t like Donald Trump they still cannot unite around that fact but instead attack each other.
Meghan McCain seemed to have a little breakdown, as it appears no one in the Trump family, not even the liberal members, have a positive attitude towards Meghan McCain. Many on the right blame John McCain for preventing the repealing of Obamacare, which he gave the well-known thumbs down to, which added to solidifying him as a RINO to many Republicans.
