House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) appeared today on CBS’ “Face the Nation” and hurled accusations at Republican elected officials in regards to voting integrity legislation that has been passed in GOP-led states.
While urging the passage of federal so-called “voting rights” legislation, Pelosi declared, “What the Republicans are doing across the country, is really a legislative continuation of what they did on January 6th.”
“Which is to undermine our democracy, to undermine the integrity of our election, to undermine the voting power, which is the essence of a democracy,” Pelosi explained.

As Twitter user “Freedom Loving Patriot” noted, the new Democrat mantra now appears to be, “Anything I don’t like is Jan 6th.”
Even actor Alec Baldwin got in on it yesterday during his bizarre driver’s seat rant when he claimed in regards to coverage on his willingness to cooperate with authorities, “I have no worries about that, I have no worries about that, that’s all going to work itself out, regardless of what they say in these right-wing rag sheets and people who are all about hate. But setting aside all the hate, setting aside all the January 6 of it all…”
On the one-year anniversary, we reported that a “candlelight vigil” was held outside of the U.S. Capitol and U.S. Sen Josh Hawley (R-MO) exposed it as being organized by “Antifa radicals.”
In a letter to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Pelosi, Hawley called on them to condemn the vigil.
Instead, the two elected officials along with others attended the theatrics and Pelosi even spoke, marking one year since the “insurrection” and asking for a moment of silence.
Hawley declared in a tweet that included his letter, “Dems ‘candlelight vigil’ for democracy today organized by antifa radicals who have encouraged rioting, harassed elected officials, tried to disrupt Trump inauguration, & last year harassed my wife & child and were charged with criminal trespass.”
