Tom Cotton Draws the Line, Calls for Special Counsel to Investigate Hunter Biden’s Tax Affairs

Arkansas Senator (R) Tom Cotton is drawing the line. After the announcement that Joe Biden’s son Hunter is being federally investigated, Cotton is now calling for a special counsel into the matter. As he should, in our view, since the mainstream media has reported that Joe Biden will be the next president.

President Trump, meanwhile, has not conceded the 2020 presidential race, and a possible Supreme Court showdown looms. Arthur Schwarts tweeted an article about the Tom Cotton news:

“These investigations span multiple jurisdictions and if Joe Biden becomes president then all of those prosecutors are in line to be fired next month. If there were ever circumstances that created a conflict of interest and called for a special counsel, I think those circumstances are present here,” said Cotton of the situation. He went on:

“The Biden family has been trading on Joe Biden’s public office for fifty years,” he added. “Do we really think that that will change if Joe Biden becomes president, the highest office in the land?”

If Biden does get into the White House, it will be interesting as to whether or not political pressure will keep the Hunter Biden investigations from being done the way they would have otherwise.

Although Hunter is not Joe, this almost like a mirror opposite of when the Democrats were investigating President Trump. Despite that, there is a chance Hunter may actually get into some trouble, whereas the Russia Collusion investigations relating to President Trump ultimately ended with no wrongdoing proved.

Hunter Biden is now under investigation and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware is investigating his tax affairs. Attorney General Bill Barr has decided to open a Federal investigation into his taxes. 

Hunter Biden made a statement on the Biden Website saying, “ “I learned yesterday for the first time that the U.S. attorney’s office in Delaware advised my legal counsel, also yesterday, that they are investigating my tax affairs. I take this matter very seriously but I am confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisors.”

As you can see Hunter Biden denied any illegal activity.
