GOP Arizona State Sen Wendy Rogers again shared her opinion on former Vice President Mike Pence and his possible 2024 presidential bid.
In December, when Pence’s bid was first suggested, Rogers declared in a quote tweet of the report, “It is not happening.”
It appears, however, that Pence is potentially pushing ahead with his plans as he spoke today at a gathering of the Federalist Society, a conservative legal group.
Pence’s remarks represent the harshest language to date by the former vice president against Trump as he said that the 45th president “is wrong. I had no right to overturn the election.”
“The presidency belongs to the American people, and the American people alone and frankly, there is no idea more un-American than the notion that any one person could choose the American president,” Pence added.
Rogers said in a tweet, “I will get more votes in my State Senate Race than Mike Pence will ever get for President.”
“We are talking .0000000001% of the vote,” Rogers insisted.

Prior to that tweet, Rogers quote tweeted a clip of Pence’s remarks and exclaimed, “YOU SOLD US OUT!”

Juanita Broaddrick echoed Rogers in a tweet and explained, “Mike Pence… no matter how he grovels…. doesn’t have a fart in a whirlwind chance in 2024.”

As reported by NBC News, Trump claimed in a statement released Sunday that an ongoing congressional effort to pass legislation to explicitly prohibit the vice president from overturning the results of a presidential election is proof that Pence once had the power to do so.
