In a recent video from Fox News video, it’s being reported that Chuck Schumer’s troubles are getting worse. 14 Senate Republicans including Kelly Loeffler from Georgia are co-sponsoring a resolution put out by Josh Hawley (R-MO) to Censure Senator Chuck Schumer, the Senate Minority Leader.
Schumer, after threatening comments against Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch, made a half-hearted attempt to apologize yesterday. Most Republicans agree though, that it wasn’t an apology at all. “I should not have used those words,” he said, as he quickly shifted into the topic of abortion after using the fact that he’s from Brooklyn, New York as a possible excuse. The Republicans have the majority in the Senate so this bill to censure could have some real teeth. See video below:
Last night at a Fox News Town Hall, President Trump opined. “If a Republican did what Schumer did, they’d be in jail right now”, he said to Martha McCallum and Brett Baier. The RNC chairwoman, Ronna McDaniel, who was recently told on Fox News by Donna Brazile to “go to hell”, tweeted out recently about Schumer’s troubles. “He named the justices by name”, she started out, describing an interview with Mitch McConnell on Fox News in a clip she posted. ”

Chuck Schumer ought to know better than that… It reminds me of the Speaker of the House tearing up @realDonaldTrump‘s State of the Union.” – @senatemajldr” the caption ended. It seems like Mitch is not satisfied and there is a good chance of the Censure resolution against Schumer to pick up steam quickly. See tweet below:
