Trailblazing actress Betty White has passed away just 17 days shy of her 100th birthday at 99-years-old, according to law enforcement.
People Magazine had just featured White on the cover of their magazine ahead of her milestone birthday.
As Access reported, the Gold Girls alum told People Magazine that she was “so lucky” to be in such good health ahead of her 100th birthday.
“I try to avoid anything green. I think it’s working,” White told the outlet.
White spent over eight decades in Hollywood, but had begun to slow things down recently according to People.
On Tuesday, in what will be her final tweet, White celebrated her feature and upcoming birthday.
“My 100th birthday… I cannot believe it is coming up, and People Magazine is celebrating with me! The new issue of @people is available on newsstands nationwide tomorrow,” White said.
