A report from Jack Posobiec and Hannah Nightengale reveals that numerous National Guard troops have yet to receive their final year-end pay on time during the week of Christmas.
The failure came after approving a controversial additional $45 billion aid package to Ukraine, and the House passing a $1.7 trillion spending plan, according to the report.
The Post Millennial obtained a letter that was sent to National Guard members that began, “Hello gents if you have been tracking, the pay issue that has been plaguing the unit and the division as well.”
Troops from West Virginia, Georgia, and Alabama reportedly expressed their anger and disappointment that their pay had yet to be received.
One National Guard soldier from Georgia said in a tweet, “The Georgia National Guard was supposed to receive pay today from our previous drill.”
“So, is this how ‘We Support Our Troops’ goes? Shouldn’t paychecks already be part of allotted money?” he wondered.
@jamiedupree @FoxNews @wsbtv @wsbradio I was wondering if anyone was covering this. The Georgia National Guard was supposed to receive pay today from our previous drill. So, is this how “We Support Our Troops” goes? Shouldn’t paychecks already be part of allotted money? pic.twitter.com/TeRCfwXUeE

Another apparent National Guard member who had West Virginia as her location in her Twitter bio announced, “Shoutout to congress for holding the entire national guard and reserves pay!!!”
“Best Christmas gift I could get thanks Congress I love being f*cked over!!!” she added.

Robbie Richardson, an apparent National Guard soldier from Alabama, lamented in a tweet, “Thanks to our Administration and US Congress, National Guard Solders that drilled the 2nd weekend of this month and have a pay stement in-hand showing they would get their pay direct deposited today, do not have that money in their bank account.”
