OPINION:
Florida State Rep. Anthony Sabatini, who has recently come under fire by spineless fellow Republicans and pro-LGBTQ washed-up Star Trek actor and activist George Takei for tweeting pics of an AR-15 in response to looters and rioters, is back with a vengeance.
Attention potential “protesters” coming near Lake County, FL. This is an AR-15—this will be a very common sight upon illegal entry at any Lake County business—FYI! pic.twitter.com/G72q26YDww

Unlike the cowardly Drew Brees who recently apologized to the angry mob after receiving flack for praising American patriotism, Sabatini will not be following suit in said behavior. In fact he is doubling down in his rare and bold pushback against the crazy narratives being pushed on us after the tragic police involved death of George Floyd in Minnesota that has lead to nonstop riots around the nation.
I would like to apologize to my friends, teammates, the City of New Orleans, the black community, NFL community and anyone I hurt with my comments yesterday. In speaking with some of you, it breaks my heart to know… https://t.co/Jg36d0Ad0l

We’ve all heard it before, there are good police and bad police, and it goes without saying. It also goes without saying that if there is a problem with police brutality it needs to be addressed and peaceful protest is a great way to do that.
What we are seeing in the United States today is not peaceful, nor is it protest. We are seeing, at best, reckless riots funded by Democrat like groups and at worst, an insurgence and a possible political coup attempt due to the hatred for President Donald J. Trump.
Many sympathetic social justice warriors have gotten carried away with their rightful sadness for police brutality though, and people on both sides of the political aisle have been going to protests, and changing their social media photos to a black picture of nothing. Sabatini believes that with the looting and rioting going on in the nation, this behavior makes things worse. He posted this morning his thoughts, which are sure to ruffle feathers across the board.
“FYI: contributing to the “systematic racism” lie is going to get cops killed. It’s a charade with ZERO data or evidence to support it. Even tepid support, like sheepishly posting a black square on your social media page, contributes to the consequences of police hatred and the breakdown of trust in communities where policing saves lives daily. Think twice before you jump on the bandwagon. And while INDIVIDUAL racists do exist and should be condemned, condemning all people of any race as “racists” is itself insanely racist.” See post below:
Whether you agree with all or some of even none of Sabatini’s words, it’s refreshing to see someone, for a change, who does not bow to the angry mob for anyone. Thanks Rep. Anthony.
