Former Republican Senate Nominee Corey Stewart made a “rare endorsement in a Republican primary” today by endorsing Jarome Bell for the Virginia 2nd District House of Representatives race.
He said that Bell wouldn’t “fold” against the “left.” He referenced previous attacks against President Trump and how Scott Taylor, the prior Congressman and one of Bell’s opponents, would “cut and run.”
An ad released by the Bell campaign this week showed video clips of Taylor attempting to distance himself from the president in the past.
Two days ago, one of the primary opponents that Stewart defeated in the 2018 Virginia Senate race, also endorsed Bell.
