Brett Favre, legendary former Green Bay Packers Quarterback who was inducted into the hall of fame in 2016 is coming out in full force for Trump. This adds to the list of ‘a list’ stars shocking and dismaying liberals around the nation who thought their plan to shame famous people out of their Trump Support was working in our view.
The list of famous people who have either endorsed or said they will work with President Trump has included Ice Cube, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, Kirstie Alley, and many others. Some have backtracked, such as 50 Cent, after his ex-girlfriend trashed him for his opinion, and of course, rapper Ice Cube wants people to know his discussions with the Trump campaign are not a full endorsement.
This morning Favre laid down the gauntlet, tweeting out:
“My Vote is for what makes this country great, freedom of speech & religion, 2nd Amnd, hard-working tax paying citizens, police & military. In this election, we have freedom of choice, which all should respect. For me & these principles, my Vote is for @RealDonaldTrump.”

At the end of his tweet, he prompted others to go vote as well. President Trump and the NFL have been quite divided as of late, as players kneeling for the anthem such as Colin Kaepernick, who is no longer an NFL player as of now, have caused many of the NFL’s fans to abandon them.
Trump has called out the NFL for what he feels is poor decision making and leadership on their part.
The leadership within the NFL is locked within a struggle to maintain fans and be a part of the ‘woke’ left. They appear to be losing in the balancing act so far. Brett Favre is having none of it today though, as he came out swinging and mincing no words.
The more that famous people start to come out in favor of President Trump’s re-election, the more so-called ‘silent’ Trump voters may come out as well. This destroys the liberal narrative that Trump supporters are a bunch of racists who are ultimately going away and going out of style.
It’s hard to say who will win for sure in the upcoming election but Trump supporters don’t seem to be going anywhere. Fox 26 News recently reported:
During a town hall-style event on Sinclair’s “America This Week with Eric Bolling” Favre asked the president in a recorded message,
The NBA and the NFL are struggling with lower ratings, as fans clearly do not want political messaging mixed with their sports. So how should the leagues support and promote an anti-racism position without becoming political and alienating fans?
President Trump said, “Well, Brett is a great guy, okay, a champion, a winner. I think the NBA and NBA ratings were down 70%, more than that for their finale, for their big, and the NFL is way down. People don’t want to see all of the politics. They’ve got enough politics with me and with everybody else. And they don’t want to see it with football or sports on Sunday or whenever they happen to be watching. I think it’s had a huge impact on sports, a huge negative impact on sports. And I think what … football ought to get back to football and basketball to basketball. And let politics remain separate. And if people want to protest they can.
But they shouldn’t be protesting on the sidelines during the football game, especially when they’re making $10 million a year for something they’d be doing anyway for free if they weren’t in the league or the NFL or in the NBA. But the NBA in particular, I mean their ratings have gone down … but the NFL, too. People don’t want to see it. And they want to have these players stand and salute or put their hand over their heart or at least stand for the National Anthem and salute. They want to respect the American flag. They want respect for our country. They want respect for the American flag.”
Stand by for more possible endorsements of either candidate to come.
