Attorney Lin Wood Believes AG Barr ‘Needs To Act’

In September, Attorney General Bill Barr was interviewed by CNN’s Wolf Blitzer and was asked if he would “honor” the tradition that the Justice Department won’t “go forward with charges against individuals that could be seen as politically inappropriate or against political opponents” 60 days before the election.

AG Barr said he would honor that, but he said he did not believe that anything they did involving the Durham investigation would be considered politically motivated.

Attorney Lin Wood has taken issue with that stance after recent revelations regarding Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

In a three-part tweet he vented his grievances yesterday with that, the aforementioned Durham investigation, and other situations that have arisen.

“I am troubled by failure of AG Bill Barr to take action on Hunter Biden laptop evidence. I am troubled by lengthy investigation & inaction of John Durham. He serves under control of Barr. I am troubled by superficial investigation of death of Jeffrey Epstein,” Wood began.

“I am troubled by General Flynn prosecution & failure of DOJ to look into possible corruption on part of Judge Sullivan. I am troubled by resources spent on Roger Stone prosecution. I hear AG Barr is a patriot who does not wish to be viewed as political,” he continued.

In the final tweet, he questioned Barr’s motivations and pushed back on those who say that if the AG were to take action, that could be seen as political.

“Not issuing indictments due to election is by definition political. Barr worked for CIA & served at DOJ under Bush 41. Later, he made millions employed by Verizon. 2009 to 2018, Barr served on board of directors for Time Warner. I am troubled. Are you? Barr needs to act,” Wood said.

In a later tweet, Wood said “One last thing – AG Bill Barr should also get some rest tonight. If he is a Patriot and not Deep State, he will have a very busy next few weeks & months, starting tomorrow morning. No one is above the law. Get busy AG Barr. Do your job.”
