‘WE Are the Majority’ Lauren Boebert Celebrates News That Greg Gutfeld Grabs the Top Spot in Late Night TV

U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) celebrated news that Greg Gutfeld’s Fox News late night TV show “Gutfeld!” grabbed the top spot in late night TV and declared “WE are the majority.”

According The Daily Mail, Tuesday’s episode of Gutfeld!, which aired 11pm EST, drew in about 2.12 million viewers, topping Stephen Colbert, who had an audience of about 1.9 million for his show that aired at 11:35pm EST.

In the highly sought after 25 to 54 age demographic category, Gutfeld pulled in 434,000 viewers compared to Colbert’s 423,000 viewers.

Boebert shared the report in a tweet and stated, “Just goes to show you that WE are the majority. The Woke Left is a small but loud minority.”

“Great job @GregGutfeld – you earned it!” Boebert asserted.

Fox News contributer Joey Jones also offered praise for Gutfeld in a tweet where he said, “Congratulations @greggutfeld.”

Jones explained, “You (and your team!) are the hardest working folks in the business and have been incredibly gracious to this Marine.”

The Daily Mail also pointed out that usurping Colbert was no small feat, as the comedian’s show was the most watched late night show for the 2020-21 season for the fifth year running.

Colbert recently attempted to spin the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan against Trump supporters and claimed that the former president shared part of the blame for the chaos.

From The Washington Times:

“Why should our soldiers be fighting radicals in a civil war in Afghanistan?” Mr. Colbert asked. “We’ve got our own on Capitol Hill.”

The comedian’s commentary was juxtaposed with an image of flag-waving Americans outside the Capitol during the Jan. 6 riots.

“[Trump’s] policies are equally responsible for the Taliban‘s takeover,” Mr. Colbert insisted. “After all, he reduced our troop presence from 15,000 to 2,500. The ceasefire he negotiated was directly with the Taliban. He didn’t even include the Afghan government. Then, he went back and convinced the Afghan government to release 5,000 Taliban prisoners, many of whom are currently fighting in Kabul, while also agreeing to pull all troops out by May 1. So you can’t put all the blame for a debacle you helped set the stage for.”
