On Friday, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) demanded House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) call the chamber back into session after the terror attack in Kabul.
Pelosi has thus far ignored the demand and now tonight, U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) announced a gathering of “Like Minded Republicans” due to the Speaker’s lack of action.
Boebert shared a video which showed her at an airport in a tweet and stated, “Nancy Pelosi won’t call Congress back into session. I’m heading there anyway to meet with like-minded Republicans who know it’s time to take action.”
In the video, Boebert criticized Pelosi for previously having “no problem” calling Congress back into session to spend “trillions and trillions of dollars.”
“We need to take action against this administration against this (Biden) Administration and hold them accountable,” Boebert insisted.
Boebert then brought up former President Trump’s impeachments and pointed out that he was impeached over a “perfect phone call and a perfect speech.”
In regards to those impeachments, Boebert noted that “he was acquitted both times, of course, and you’ll be hearing from me soon on that.”
Boebert concluded by thanking her supporters for “support of the United States military, the loss of American lives, and the country that we all love so dearly.”

McCarthy had said during his interview that he wanted lawmakers back to vote on legislation that blocks the pullout of all U.S. troops until every American who wants to leave Afghanistan is evacuated.
It is too late for that now, however, as we reported earlier, the military has now been pulled out of the country and there are still reportedly still between 100-200 Americans left.
Pelosi recently tweeted about a Medium post which showed “A Behind-the-Scenes Look at the U.S. Speaker of the House” in the last week.
The post included her promotion of the voting bills, yet not a word about Afghanistan.
