Kavanaugh Turns on Trump, Supreme Court Rules Biden Administration Can Terminate Trump Era ‘Remain in Mexico Policy’

The Supreme Court released its opinion today, that the Biden administration may terminate “Remain in Mexico”. The policy the Biden administration was already ignoring, with the vote of 5-4, John Roberts and Brett Kavanaugh sided with the liberal justices in favor of the Biden administration.

This decision comes in the middle of the Biden border crisis, where record amounts of migrants are crossing the border illegally. Those that are captured or discovered are being sent all over the United States.

In May a record amount of arrests were made of people crossing the U.S. Mexico border illegally with 222,656 arrests made by border patrol.

The surge at the border started shortly after Biden was sworn into office. While the Biden administration continues to claim the border is closed, the policies that are enforced send a different message to the hoards of migrants coming in through our southern border.

This ruling may surprise some and it is unclear what effect it will have on the southern border as it has not appeared that it was being enforced by the Biden administration beforehand.

Republican Governor of Texas Greg Abbott gave a press conference yesterday to announce the actions the state of Texas would be taking to address the border. Abbott called out Biden during his press conference for ignoring the crisis at our southern border.

The border is out of control and it doesn’t appear that anything substantive will be done by the federal government to stop the problem.
