Arizona GOP Gov. nominee Kari Lake told Tucker Carlson last night that she is “not a fan” of sending illegal immigrants further inland.
Lake did acknowledge that she gets “a kick” out of seeing liberal mayors say that they can’t handle them, which seems to be the idea behind why it’s being done by some GOP governors.
In a tweet hitting back at the Florida Politics news outlet, Lake wanted to make it clear that she doesn’t have a problem with Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis though.
The “Kari Lake War Room” replied to a tweet where they shared an article on the matter and said, “Your framing suggests that Kari was attacking @GovRonDeSantis. That’s not the case. We’re big fans of his.”
“Why don’t you just post the clip & let people judge for themselves? Here we’ll do it. PS: They’re illegal immigrants. The lack of documentation is self-explanatory.”

Lake made it clear during her appearance on Carlson’s Fox News show that her goal is to stop illegal immigrants from entering the country at all.
DeSantis’ press secretary Christina Pushaw declared in a tweet last night, “Martha’s Vineyard residents should be thrilled about this.”
“They vote for sanctuary cities — they get a sanctuary city of their own. And illegal aliens will increase the town’s diversity, which is strength. Right?” Pushaw added.

At a press conference today, DeSantis discussed the move to send the illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard.
“n Florida, we take what is happening at the southern border seriously. We are not a sanctuary state, and we will gladly facilitate the transport of illegal immigrants to sanctuary jurisdictions,” DeSantis said in a tweet that included a clip from the press conference.
