Franklin Graham shared on Facebook that My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell has been helping out in Florida after it was devastated by Hurricane Ian.
Graham Shared, “I appreciate Mike Lindell going to Fort Myers, FL, today to deliver more than 9,000 MyPillows and 2,000 of his blankets for victims of Hurricane #Ian. These will mean so much to people who have lost everything. He even brought children’s pillows that have a Bible story picture. My daughter Cissie Graham Lynch and son-in-law Corey were there to welcome Mike and show him the work Samaritan’s Purse is doing there in Jesus’ Name.”
Lindell’s company has given over 12,000 items in total out to Floridians in need. He told Insider he had given away, “7,264 MyPillows, 2,566 “Bible pillows,” and 2,556 blankets on a truck that got to Florida on Thursday.”
Lindell remarked, “The people were so grateful. They were very friendly and we prayed with many.”
Lindell went where Graham’s Samaritan’s Purse was working and handed out the items alongside them.
Lindell shared, “People are asking ‘Is there any hope?’ Samaritan’s Purse is always there when disasters come, and they bring hope—such a wonderful organization.”
According to an article by Samaritan’s Purse, Lindell met with disabled veteran Lenny Egan. Egan’s roof was being tarped by Samaritan’s Purse volunteers and cleaning up debris in his yard.
Lindell told him, “I’m sorry for what you have gone through, but you’ve got Samaritan’s Purse now.”
Samaritan’s Purse has three bases of relief set up in Florida right now to help clean up.
