Former President Barack Obama doesn’t often speak about his older half-brother Malik. Malik is a known agitator of Barack for his policies and has been on record as a Donald Trump supporter.
He has been posting conservative opinions, memes and jokes on Twitter for some time now. Often he takes long breaks but seems to always come back to painfully remind brother Barack that he supports 45th President Trump.
Ahead of the mid-term elections, Malik has resurfaced to remind Americans and followers alike to “vote Republican”.
“Vote Republican up and down the ticket!”
Vote Republican up and down the ticket!

Republicans are expected to do well on Tuesday. Many are concerned that all the votes won’t be counted Tuesday night. Many outlets have released statements explaining that it’s normal for election results to not always be available on election night.
Some states pre count early and mail in votes. Others count them after day of votes. Many think it’s outrageous, but that’s apparently the way it is. No one knows how well the GOP will actually do and in my view some are complacent and think the Democrats are done for.
Democrats may have a rough Tuesday but the GOP’s long term headwinds still exist. They’ll have to keep thinking of new ways to win in the face of a challenging popular vote imbalance, especially going into 2024.
Many expect Donald Trump to announce a 2024 presidential run soon after the elections on Tuesday. Ron DeSantis is running to be re-elected as Florida Republican Governor, but some want him running for president instead of Trump, other want him to wait until 2028, still others don’t want him to run at all.
