Former ‘Republican’ House Speaker John Boehner Sobs Over Nancy Pelosi at her Portrait Unveiling Ceremony

Former “Republican” House Speaker John Boehner today sobbed over Nancy Pelosi at her portrait unveiling ceremony.

CSPAN shared a clip in a tweet that said, “@SpeakerBoehner gets emotional speaking at @SpeakerPelosi portrait unveiling ceremony.”

Boehner told the audience and Pelosi “My girls told me, ‘Tell the Speaker how much we admire her'” while wiping away tears.

In the clip, Boehner pulled out a tissue and was sniffing as he ultimately was able to compose himself as he told another story.

“You’ve been incredibly effective as the leader of your caucus. You know the younger generation today has a saying, ‘Game recognizes game,'” Boehner gushed.

Boehner then appeared to have a tough time composing himself again as he continued, “No other Speaker of the House in the modern era, Republican or Democrat, has wielded the gavel with such authority or with such consistent results. Let me just say, you’re one tough cookie.”

From 2011 to 2015, Boehner, a representative from Ohio, was the Speaker, succeeding Pelosi, who later took over the Speakership again in 2018.

Boehner ultimately resigned from Congress and stepped down in October 2015 after pressure from the Republican caucus.

Current Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) was set to succeed Boehner at that point but changed his mind and Paul Ryan, a former Wisconsin House Rep and vice presidential nominee ultimately took over with Boehner’s blessing.

  1. Confirmed: not even a RINO but a card carrying (in his secret purse), dyed in the wool Democrat (i.e. lefty retard).
