In a series of tweets today, Fox News contributor and civil rights attorney Leo Terrell gave his opinion on the FBI, given recent controversies.
Terrell reported in the first tweet, “Our government paid @Twitter, millions of dollars to silence Americans.”
“What are we going to do about it? Terrell wondered.

In another tweet, Terrell then declared that he believes we need to, “Get rid of the #FBI until @dbongino is appointed Director.”
Bongino appeared to support the suggestion from Terrell as he responded enthusiastically, “Thanks my brother!”

Terrell wasn’t finished however as he concluded by insisting that “Americans cannot trust the #FBI.”

As we previously reported, the FBI released a statement today downplaying the latest #TwitterFiles dumps by calling them “misinformation” by “conspiracy theorists.”
In the statement, the FBI claimed, “The correspondence between the FBI and Twitter show nothing more than examples of our traditional, longstanding, and ongoing federal government and private sector engagements, which involve numerous companies over multiple sectors and industries.”
“As evidenced in the correspondence, the FBI provides critical information to the private sector in an effort to allow them to protect themselves and their customers,” the statement continued.
The statement concluded by insisting that “The men and women of the FBI work every day to protect the American public. It is unfortunate that conspiracy theorists and others are feeding the American public misinformation with the sole purpose of attempting to discredit the agency.”
