FBI Downplays Latest #TwitterFiles Dumps in Statement as ‘Misinformation’ By ‘Conspiracy Theorists’

The FBI released a statement today downplaying the latest #TwitterFiles dumps by calling them “misinformation” by “conspiracy theorists.”

In the statement, the FBI claimed, “The correspondence between the FBI and Twitter show nothing more than examples of our traditional, longstanding, and ongoing federal government and private sector engagements, which involve numerous companies over multiple sectors and industries.”

“As evidenced in the correspondence, the FBI provides critical information to the private sector in an effort to allow them to protect themselves and their customers,” the statement continued.

The statement concluded by insisting that “The men and women of the FBI work every day to protect the American public. It is unfortunate that conspiracy theorists and others are feeding the American public misinformation with the sole purpose of attempting to discredit the agency.”

U.S. House Rep Dan Bishop (R-NC) has been breaking down the nearly $2 trillion Omnibus bill and he recently discovered that part of it includes a new headquarters for the agency.

“We’re back for day two of the omnibus breakdown. The FBI is getting a new, $375 million HQ – final location TBD,” Bishop noted in a tweet.

Bishop said “Look for that to be a fight next Congress” and pointed out that “Retiring Senator Shelby already has several buildings named after him – this adds an FBI training center to the list.”

Former Trump advisor Stephen Miller shared the revelation from Bishop in a quote tweet and summed it up.

“So at the time when FBI corruption has been exposed in spectacular fashion, and the new House majority is getting ready to issue urgent subpoenas, the Senate is racing to give the FBI a large raise and a flashy new HQ — eliminating yet more leverage,” Miller lamented.
