Elon Musk Describes First Six Weeks of Owning Twitter as a ‘Roller Coaster,’ Admits ‘There’s Still Much Work to Do’

During an interview that aired on Christmas Eve with the All-In Podcast, Elon Musk described the first six weeks of owning Twitter as a “roller coaster” and in a reply to a tweet admitted that “There’s still much work to do.”

Musk was asked, “How’s the first six weeks been, generally speaking of owning Twitter?”

“It’s been quite a roller coaster, which obviously you’ve witnessed from being on the roller coaster as well… it’s exciting, it has its highs and lows to say the least,” Musk replied.

YouTuber Farzad Mesbahi shared what Musk said next in a tweet as he said, “On today’s All In podcast @elonmusk says ‘We’ve gotten the expenses (of Twitter) under control, so the company isn’t on the fast lane of Bankruptcy anymore’.”

Musk replied to Mesbahi, “Twitter isn’t secure yet, just not in the fast lane to bankruptcy. Still much work to do.”

Mesbahi followed up by noting, “Good thing there’s a bunch of badasses working at Twitter.”

Musk doesn’t necessarily think that things will settle down given a reply that he made to another tweet that asked, “We’re kinda due for a chill year, right? RIGHT?!”

“Kek,” Musk responded, using a slang term that means “haha.”

Last night we reported on a “frank” observation that Musk made on the podcast as he said that “almost every conspiracy theory that people had about Twitter turned out to be true.”
