Elon Musk Offers ‘Frank’ Observation, ‘Almost Every Conspiracy Theory That People Had About Twitter Turned Out to be True’

Elon Musk appeared on the All-In podcast yesterday and dropped a truth bomb after the recent #TwitterFiles dumps, revealing what he has discovered as the Twitter CEO.

The appearance from Musk came on an episode where the hosts game awards for various things that occurred throughout the year and appeared during the “Flash in the pan” segment.

At one point during his appearance, Musk was asked about the #TwitterFiles, why they are important, and how much longer they were going to continue.

“I think it’s important to… if we’re going to be trusted in the future, to kind of clear the decks of stuff that happened in the past,” Musk explained.

Musk then told the hosts, “To be totally frank, almost every conspiracy theory that people had about Twitter turned out to be true.”

“Is there a conspiracy theory that didn’t turn out to be true? So far they’ve all turned out to be true and if not more true than people thought,” Musk emphasized.

Journalist Matt Taibbi released another batch of #TwitterFiles yesterday in a thread titled, “TWITTER AND ‘OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES'”

Taibbi said that “After weeks of ‘Twitter Files’ reports detailing close coordination between the FBI and Twitter in moderating social media content, the Bureau issued a statement Wednesday.”

“It didn’t refute allegations. Instead, it decried ‘conspiracy theorists’ publishing ‘misinformation,’ whose ‘sole aim’ is to ‘discredit the agency,'” Taibbi pointed out.

Musk has made it clear that he has no problem with the FBI, but it clearly makes no difference to the agency as it tries to persuade the public that nothing nefarious occurred.
