U.S. Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) appeared on NBC’s “Meet the Press” today and delivered an “obvious” truth to Chuck Todd.
Johnson shared a clip from the interview in a tweet where he began, “I’m concerned about getting the truth, I don’t target individuals.”
Todd said with a laugh, “You’re targeting Hunter Biden… you’re targeting an individual.”
“Chuck, part of the problem, and this is pretty obvious to anyone watching this, you don’t invite me on to interview, you invite me on to argue with me,” Johnson explained.
Johnson won his election in 2022 in Wisconsin, where Democrats have been winning statewide elections since Johnson and Donald Trump won in the state in 2016.
“I’m just trying to lay out the facts that certainly Senator (Chuck) Grassley and I uncovered. They were suppressed, they were censored, they interfered in the 2020 election,” Johnson continued.
Johnson noted, “Conservatives understand that, unfortunately, liberals in the media don’t and that is part of the reason why our politics are inflamed is that we do not have an unbiased media.”
“I’m all for free press, but we need more unbiased,” Johnson added as Todd attempted to protest what he had said.
In the tweet, Johnson summed up the clip as he said, “A free society requires a free and unbiased press. Unfortunately, our mainstream media is highly biased to the left. They don’t ask me on their shows to interview me, they argue with me.”
