Antifa Militants Attack Police Training Facility in Atlanta

On Sunday, Antifa reportedly set out to destroy an Atlanta police training facility currently under construction.

According to a statement released by the Atlanta police department, 35 individuals were detained. The violent agitators used a peaceful protest of the facility as cover to coordinate an attack on police officers and construction equipment.

During the protest, the left wing militants changed into black clothing, entered the construction arena, and began to throw rocks, bricks, Molotov cocktails, and fireworks at police officers. This event was an organized attack, and more are expected during what Antifa is calling a “week of action”.

“The violent attacks in #Atlanta today were organized. The direct actions were promoted weeks ago on the main account of the group representing the domestic terrorism movement to use violence to prevent a first responder training center southeast of Atlanta”

Journalist Andy Ngo has shared many different videos from the attack.

“Smoke plumes fill the sky as members of the far-left movement @defendATLforest carry out arson attacks southeast of #Atlanta. The pre-planned riot is another revenge attack for law enforcement stopping their violent autonomous zone occupation. #Antifa“

Ngo shared a video of Antifa assaulting a videographer who was recording the assault, and another video shows the police taking down one of the agitators.

The Atlanta police released videos from the attack.

Governor Kemp issued a statement condemning the domestic terrorism perpetrated by Antifa:

“Yesterday evening, violet activists attached the future site of the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center, putting those in the surrounding community at risk. They chose destruction and vandalism over legitimate protest, yet again demonstrating the radical intent behind their actions.”

“State and local law enforcement were quickly on the scene and able to bring the situation under control. I want to thank the Georgia State Patrol, DNR Game Wardens, Atlanta Police, DeKalb Police, Sandy Springs Police, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, and others who aided in bringing peace and order back to the site. Their bravery should be celebrated.”

“As I’ve said before, domestic terrorism will NOT be tolerated in this state. As we continue to respect peaceful protest, we will also continue to ensure safety in our communities. We will not rest until those who use violence and intimidation for an extremist end are brought to full justice.”

23 suspects were charged with domestic terrorism, including individuals who came from France and Canada. Ngo also shared that one of those arrested and charged is a Southern Poverty Law Center staff attorney.

“Breaking: Atlanta Police have released photos of the 23 suspects charged with domestic terrorism over the far-left ambush on police on March 5 in an attack connected to an #Antifa affinity group. Almost all of them are from out of state, with two coming from France and Canada.”

“At least 23 #StopCopCity suspects were arrested in Atlanta on suspicion of domestic terrorism over the violent ambush on police. Almost all are from out of state. One of the terror suspects is an @splcenter staff attorney & another is a Canadian academic.”

Ngo shared videos captured by NYT reporter Sean Keenan:

“NYT reporter Sean Keenan captured rare close-up video of part of the domestic terrorist attack by #Antifa and far-left extremists in Atlanta yesterday. The militants launched a coordinated mob ambush on police guarding a construction site the extremists seek to retake & occupy.”

“This is video of the end of the far-left #Antifa attack near Atlanta. Around a hundred masked militants already escaped on foot after setting a construction site on fire using homemade explosives. The police guarding the area were chased away with rocks & Molotov cocktails.”

In response to the violent attack, U.S. Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA) announced she is introducing a resolution to designate Antifa as a terrorist organization.

“Antifa are domestic terrorists and I’m introducing my resolution to officially declare them a terrorist organization on Tuesday.”

With more planned for this week, in and around the city of Atlanta, hopefully police will be able to contain the reported domestic terrorism encouraged by many Democrats and possibly stop it before it starts.
