Joe Biden today headlined a firefighters’ union event and at one point he joked that the top of his head had to be taken off to see if he had a brain after experiencing headaches.
Biden made the comments as a clip from an interview with Jill Biden has gone viral for her saying that candidates over 75 don’t need a mental evaluation.
“I had these terrible headaches,” Biden explained at the beginning of a clip that was shared by Breaking911.
Biden the said with a laugh “I was diagnosed with having a… well, anyway… they had to take the top of my head off a couple times to see if I had a brain.”

The story from Biden is only his latest bizarre telling of one at an event.
Last week in Virginia Beach, Biden described a relationship he once had with a nurse:
Biden began, “I had a nurse… She’d come in and do things I don’t think you learn in nursing school.”
“She’d whisper in my ear, I couldn’t understand her, but she’d whisper and she’d lean down and actually breathe on me to make sure there was a human connection,” Biden continued.
Biden added, “She went home and brought back her pillow from her own bed… but I’m not joking.”
