George Constanza Actor Checks Back in on Twitter After Apparently Receiving a Gifted Blue Checkmark, but Says He’s Still Leaving

The actor who played George Constanza on Seinfeld, Jason Alexander, checked back in on Twitter today after announcing his departure yesterday.

The check in came after Alexander apparently received a complementary checkmark from owner Elon Musk after his departure tweet went viral.

“Friends told me my blue verified check was restored,” Alexander began in the tweet.

Alexander then said, “Dont know why. I’ve paid nothing. I gave no number. @StephenKing reported same.”

“My account remains so no one steals the account name,” Alexander insisted.

Alexander concluded, “And I can tell you this madness hasn’t happened on Insta or Spoutible.”

As we reported yesterday, Alexander declared in a tweet, “Ok everyone. Twitter has removed my verification. I will no longer be posting on this app. Anyone who posts as me is an imposter. I wish you all well.”

Alexander later added in a separate tweet, “One last- I’m on Spoutible and Insta. Take care all.”

  1. So I guess in regular life Alexander truly is a Costanza.
    Cheap, whining little soy boy.
I would be embarrassed to be associated with such sissy.
