A report by Page Six indicates a Ron DeSantis Vice President spot with Donald Trump isn’t completely out of the question after all. Despite that, we at Media Right News still think that it’s a long shot. However, like the famous line from the movie “Dumb and Dumber”, perhaps some who want DeSantis to be Trump’s pick may be thinking right now, “So you’re telling me there’s a chance?“.
In addition to this report, which we will expand upon shortly, news just broke that Disney is suing the Republican Florida Governor. It’s unclear if that will come as a shock to him or if it is something he expected with lawyers at the ready. If you’re interested in that divergence, see below to find out more.

So back to the original story. If you haven’t been sleeping under a rock, you would know that former mega MAGA Trump supporter Ron DeSantis has been running his own shadow campaign for president according to many reports, although he has denied it.
DeSantis hasn’t denied that he is thinking about running for 2024 however, lending credence to the shadow campaign theory, in addition to the fact that he is named on most GOP 2024 primary presidential polls. On most polls, DeSantis is losing to Donald Trump, but yet higher than many candidates who already declared, such as former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.
Page Six reported:
A Trumpworld source tells Page Six, “Some of his supporters are suggesting he make a deal with DeSantis to make him VP, and he’s listening, but hasn’t agreed.”
The source added, “Supporters say the VP offer [would] stop DeSantis from opposing [Trump] and offer a ‘youthful conservative vigor’ to the slot, which Biden doesn’t have.”
The “scoop” went on to say that “so far, there’s no deal yet”. This is the sort of thing that could either have legs or could be immediately debunked by a Trump Truth Social post if he decides to deny the report. We will stay tuned to that to see if that does happen and try to update this story when we are able to.
Whether you like Ron DeSantis or not, this would be an interesting development if it does happen, although again, as we speculated earlier on in the story, it seems like an unlikely thing to happen. I would add that it would be a nightmare for Democrats, as they are enjoying the current infighting between supporters of Ron DeSantis and supporters of Donald Trump for president.
Some detractors such as Roger Stone have said that Trump and DeSantis can’t run together since they both live in Florida.

No, no,NO! I liked RDS at first, until I researched. It has come out that he is an introvert (never a good thing in a politician) and NEVER takes or seeks out advice from anyone! FL may be doing well in certain areas and I totally approve of his wrangling in and castrating of Disney, but schools in FL are HORRIBLE, especially in Broward and related counties. The bullying and violence are off the charts in some schools and no one in charge has a grip on the problem.
I have a very strong feeling RDS would be Pence without the good subordinate during a Trump 2nd term and a nasty, Deep State puppet (which he’s already becoming) if president. He’s also already turning off voters!
Bottom line: I’m sticking with PDJT for good!
