According to the ratings polls, Mr. Carlson drew more than 3.5 million viewers to his time slot every night, so it would seem there are quite a few people who would not agree with you or appreciate your comment. Perhaps you thought you were being quite clever, but your inane observation was already stale by late Monday afternoon, the 24th.
If I had to make a guess, I would say your political point of view does not come about because of any influence you received from your mother. She is a very intelligent, talented, articulate, and sensible woman whom I admire. You would do yourself a huge favor by listening to her and making a serious adjustment to your way of thinking.
