Presidential candidate Nikki Haley is trying to differentiate herself from Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, but if she thinks it’s going to impress Donald Trump or those who support him it doesn’t seem likely.
Today while on Fox News, Haley was asked to comment on the breaking news that the Walt Disney Corp. is suing DeSantis. During her commentary, Haley tried to court Disney into moving to South Carolina, not sure exactly who she was pandering to with the offer to set up a meeting between them and the current governor of South Carolina.
Haley started off touting her time as governor of South Carolina, mentioning that businesses were her “partner”. She added that South Carolina is not a woke state. She then offered to set up a meeting between Disney, “their billions”, the governor of South Carolina and the legislature “that would welcome it”, if they’re willing to move.
Proud of her comments on Fox News, Haley shared the clip, and added in a potshot at DeSantis:
“Hey @Disney, my home state will happily accept your 70,000+ jobs if you want to leave Florida. We’ve got great weather, great people, and it’s always a great day in South Carolina! SC’s not woke, but we’re not sanctimonious about it either.”

South Carolina may not be “woke” but Disney definitely is, in the eyes of many conservatives.
It may sound to many that Haley is willing to put economic ventures above non-woke “morals” for Disney’s billions.
Twitter user Gabe F. Guidarini pointed out Haley’s groveling to Disney was only to take a shot at DeSantis in a tweet.
“Only Nikki Haley’s campaign has the level of cynicism necessary to suck up to a massive left wing corporation for the sake of one-upping a campaign opponent.”

Investigative journalist and well-known Trump supporter Laura Loomer shared her thoughts on Haley in a recent tweet.
“I am disgusted by people who are saying @NikkiHaley should be President Trump’s VP. Nikki Haley is DeSanctimonious in a dress!”

Nikki Haley is DeSanctimonious in a dress!
It isn’t clear exactly who Haley is trying to pander to but her convoluted statement seemed like a misguided attempt at trying to stay in the middle.
