The New York post released an article earlier today titled, “‘Squad’ members want to make illegal immigrants eligible for coronavirus aid.” Ilhan Omar took issue with that and tweeted a doctored picture, crossing out “illegal immigrants” and putting next to it “American taxpayers” and an arrow.
She also said in the tweet, “There, fixed it for you.”

America first supporter Michelle Malkin retweeted with this tweet with a sarcastic message, calling her out.
Imagine there’s no countries/It isn’t hard to do/Nothing to kill or die for/And no such thing as citizenship too

After Bernie Sanders suspended his presidential campaign earlier today, Omar described it as a “setback” to the “movement.”
Today, our movement faces a setback. But every single setback is an opportunity to push for progress.

She posted a series of tweets following that one which ended with a message telling people “those of you who plan to sit this election out or vote for Trump, just stop. The livelihoods of millions of marginalized people are at stake. We must all fight like hell to get Donald Trump out of the White House and end the rise of fascism in this country.”
